Apply now for your garden plot!
We have applications ready for the brave gardeners and would-be gardeners who want to join us on our inaugural year as a community garden. We've got to figure out how to get the file on the blog, but until then you can e-mail us with a request for the application.
All the details about the garden are available in the application.
We have had one work day and we will be having a few more as we are getting this garden started.
We will also have two options for a garden orientation and will be working on a schedule of garden related classes we hope will be helpful to experienced as well as beginning gardeners.
We look forward to input and suggestions as we learn what will make the community garden a success!
Please contact us if you have any questions or for more information.

The quick break down is that we have 60 plots available behind Faith Mennonite Church in South Hutchinson. You can request multiple plots, but they are divided in 6 ft x 12 ft plots. There is a $15 fee per plot to help with the water costs. We have run water to the garden and individual gardeners are responsible for watering their plots.

Progress
Our first work day at the community garden was last Saturday. It was a small but dedicated group that made the first steps of progress in making the field look like the gardens we aspire to become!
Here are a few pictures to share the excitement!
